The Aenergy 32 Women has shoulder straps, a hip belt and back dimensions tailored specifically for women to ensure excellent wearing comfort. The backpack is lightweight, compact and has plenty of room for the equipment you need on extended ski touring adventures. The aluminum frame optimizes load distribution. An elastic chest strap ensures a firm fit while still allowing you to breathe easily. The unique pattern of the shoulder straps make sure the straps don‘t go straight over the chest to ensure great comfort whenever wearing the backpack. The all-around zipper lets you open up the main compartment completely, so you have everything instantly at your fingertips. A separate inner compartment is provided for your avalanche safety equipment. To top it all off, this all-rounder features an integrated helmet holder, rope attachment, straps for skis or snowboard, and loops for your ice axe and poles. The Aenergy 32 Women makes sure you are totally prepared for long ski touring adventures.
Some of the misperseptions when it comes to backpacks for women are ludicrous. Often standard shoulder strap, even the ones of those short versions, pretty much go straight over the chest. Who had the idea that just making the shoulder strap smaller and slimmer would do the trick? Why are backpacks for women always a little smaller than their male counterparts and sometimes are even missing some features?
We didn‘t accept this and therefore created the Aenergy 32 Women to be the perfect skitouring companion for women.
Carrying comfort on a backpack is super important, so this is where we started.
The pattern/construction of the shoulder straps are especially made to fit the female anatomy. It‘s not just a shorter version of the male version but it is a unique own pattern and shape. Therefore we made sure the shoulder straps do not go straight over the chest but bend around the chest area to create a perfect carrying comfort.
Of course the rest of the features and the volume are exactly the same as on the male version, having a focus on great accessibility to the main compartment and also all the features a great skitouring backpack needs to have.

The question above is what we heard most in 2017, during the development phase of summer 2019 season, when we decided to move away from this tactic and make backpacks really catered to female needs. Of course, the question mainly came from men. ;-)Our answer to this question was and still is: „Women are not small men!“There are obvious and distinctive differences in anatomy, same same but smaller doesn‘t work.Since the 2019 season we are comitted in creating products perfectly fitting women and our Aenergy 32 Women is our latest statement.
