We asked the Brands a few questions about their product and their company.
This is what they told us:

After research and feedback from our outdoor ambassadors we discovered the need for more modular and flexible products. If a product is multi-functional it will increase its value, if worn many times in many ways to many different activities and purposes. There is also a big upside if the product itselves can cover different usage and provide different degree of warmness. When wearing the garment with the flat knit next to skin you will feel warm and comfortable. If you are in need of more insulation, simply turn the garment inside out and get the benefit of additional loft next to skin due to the special Ottoman knit. The knit is carefully placed in accordance to body mapping, securing insulation in the most needed and exposed areas of your body. We have chosen to use interlock strategically on places to prevent wear and rubbing. The longs has a wasteband made in a double wool fabric with elastic properties making the garment a great fit with an optimal articulation.
